While not the prettiest game (The Koreans appeared to try to out-physical the Ticos), a young Costa Rica side looked pretty good Saturday. The backs bent but didn’t break and every time the Koreans, in front of a very home crowd atmosphere, went over the top, a Tico defender was there to break it up.

At the end, many of the first-teamers entered the game and maintained the result.

All in all, a good win for Costa Rica! They will certainly get a lot out of seeing their younger guys in this match.
