Liberia Mia and Club Sport Herediano played today the first leg of the finals. The game took place in Liberia, Guanacaste and ended with a tie (0-0). Heredia had lots of opportunities to score but Andy Herron (Heredia´s striker) was not very tight today. The game was pretty even, in the first half Liberia Mia had more ball control, and then in the second Heredia took over. The next game will be on Tuesday in Heredia, at the Eladio Rosabal Cordero Stadium.

Liberia has never won a championship, on the other hand, Heredia is one of the ¨Big Four¨ Costarrican teams with lots of history on their shoulders but has not been able to win a championship since 1993.

Hi Hugo! First of all is nice to see someone writting about costarrican football.
I saw the game too and think your comments are right, Heredia had the opportunity to won but lost their chance due to lack of concentration. Can you tell me what do you think about the Final, I couldnt see it but my friends told me it was great and surprising.
