Campaign wasn’t a failure according to team
Costa Rican players once again stressed that their World Cup campaign was not a failure, despite the 0-3 record collected in Germany. As had been said before the tournament even began by coaching staff and players alike, the team considered the fact of qualifying to the tournament enough. According to most players, a failure would have been not having qualified for the tournament. Fair enough, this would have been a bigger failure. But one must also recognize that the poor performances showed by the Ticos in Germany should at least qualify as a major disappointment for local fans.

Does anyone have a DVD recording of this game? I missed it and would really like to have it for my World Cup DVD collection. I have all the other matches if someone would like to trade.

Hi guys,
just wanted to state here that I love your country. To be honest, the main reason is that our daughter – aged 28 – worked in your country as an intern and subsequently did research for her diploma, and she found lots and lots of people that were / are just so friendly and easy-going. And my family were happy to pay back some of the hospitality and friendliness our daughter received from the Ticos to some of your compatriots…
Costa Rica is GREAT ! No army !
Highest degree of litercy in all of the Americas (take that, Gringos!); Lowest amount of delinquency in all of the Americas (take that, Gringos !).
And an environment-conscious country ( take that etc.) that makes itself more and more attractive to Western Europeans prone to tour Latin American countries. My wife and I want to go there rather sooner than later.
Muy simpaticos!
