Worst World Cup ever for Ticos

Well, it ended as Costa Rica’s worst ever World Cup finals appearance. With three games and three losses, the Ticos will now fight for the last positions in the table after all is said and done in the first round in Germany. They may want to root for Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday so that the Serbs can end the tournament with a worse goal differential. After the 2-1 loss to Poland the team will return to Costa Rica on Wednesday.
