Porras could be ready for Germany
Physical trainer Francisco Uribe believes goalkeeper Jose Francisco Porras will be ready to start the match against Germany on June 9 if coach Alexandre Guimaraes decides to use him. Porras sat out for the fourth straight day on Wednesday, after pulling a muscle in training earlier this week. “I already did some exercises and did not feel any pain, but when I apply some pressure to the area it still bothers me,” said the goalkeeper. Should Porras be unavailable, goalkeeper Alvaro Mesen will continue to defend the Costa Rica goal. The team did a light training on Wednesday after arriving back in Walldorf, and should return to the pitch on Thursday,
