More than just sport
Better take advantage of an international event like the World Cup to promote your country, right? Well, at least that’s the thinking of the Costa Rican government, which will try to show people in Germany other facets of the Central American country. The government is behind an exhibition that will run from May 24 to June 11 in the Munich Museum. It will include work from artists like musical group Editus, singer Tito Oses, painter Manuel Zumbado, chef Oscar Castro and photographer Sergio Pucciy. Other initiatives to be taken during the tournament will also try to sell Costa Rican products to European markets. Now that would be a true golden goal.
