Don’t work, cheer for the team
May 18th, 2006 | By: Bruno | No Comments »
The Costa Rican government did the right thing and decreed a holiday for all its employees on June 9. After all, that’s the date the National team debuts at the World Cup against hosts Germany. It would be extremely naive to think that workers would have worked normally should the holiday not be decreed. The government plans to do the same thing for the team’s other matches, with people going back to work after the games are over. So, no hard partying for the fans even after a win!
