Costa Rica Rival Names Keeper
Oliver Kahn, the German goalie and hero of the 2002 German second place World Cup finish has been officially replaced by Jens Lehmann who clubs for Arsenal in the Premiership. Great as he may be as a keeper, Lehman’s leadership skills are unproven, and he cannot be compared to Kahn in imposing his awesome teutonic stature in goal.
Still, Germany is trying to retune, and the constant barage of controversies swirling around Klinsman &co are at least preventing any sense of overconfidence or complancency to set in. This, to the displeasure of Costa Rica’s management who rightly worry that by having so much to prove to everybody Germany will be super tough to pull a surprise against on June 9.
