Costa Rica confident after improvement
The Costa Rican national team returned today to Walldorf, in Germany, where it will remain for the next days in preparation for its debut in the World Cup on June 9, against the Germans. Following the 1-0 loss to the Czech Republic yesterday, the coaching staff and players felt a lot better than it had after the losses to Catalunya and Ukraine. According to them, the team was able to play much better in its last friendly, thanks largely to a change in mentality and disposition. Fans are happy the team is showing signs of recovering its confidence in time for the World Cup. When the games are worth something, the Ticos will likely show up and at least force their opponents to play better.
