Costa Rica Bets In…
February 14th, 2006 | By: Ted Veler | No Comments »
The british betting houses obviously unimpressed by the ticos latest win give them chances of winning the cup between 251 to 1, and 751 to 1… Not too unreasonable, considering. Still, not a bet I’ d take at ANY odds. Wanchope’s odds to be the ultimate goleador? 151 to 1. Brazil and Ronaldo are, as always, favorites. Which is unrealistic taking into account the history of the cup, i.e. Brazil hasn’t done well in Europe in a long time just as the big Europe teams do poorly in the Americas, always.
